About

Hi! I'm Franchesca Huffman.

If you're looking for a compassionate therapist who understands the challenges of anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or parenting, you're in the right place.  I provide counseling for children, adolescents, women, parents, and families, helping each person build the tools and confidence needed to move toward healing and lasting emotional wellness.

Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, or other mental health concerns, therapy offers a safe place to process life's difficult moments without judgment. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered every step of the way.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach tailored to your unique needs. I have specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), along with extensive training in Play Therapy techniques and Sand Tray Therapy, making these approaches especially helpful for children, adolescents, and individuals healing from trauma.

I also incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.

I believe every person deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals, build on your strengths, and create a personalized treatment plan that helps you move forward with hope, resilience, and lasting change.

I accept most commercial insurance plans and also offer self-pay counseling services.   If you have questions about insurance coverage, private pay, or the counseling process, I'd be happy to help you understand your options.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and emotional wellness.  Click the button below to begin the scheduling process.
